HUNTER'S MOON

The Hunter's Moon is a traditional name for the full moon that follows the Harvest Moon. It usually occurs in October and appears orange in the sky.

The Hunter's Moon was a signal for hunters in bygone centuries who used the moonlight to hunt food for the winter. Nowadays, it is celebrated with family and friends participating in outdoor adventures into the night.
